The Annual Meeting and General Assembly of International Association of Professional Congress Organisers was Held in Japan for the First Time in 25 Years

JCS, in cooperation with others, was proud to attract and manage the 49th Annual Meeting and General Assembly of the IAPCO from February 7th to 10th. In advance of the meeting, JNTO and the Japan Tourism Agency held a Meetings Industry symposium, which covered the importance of having the IAPCO in Japan, and with presentations for the media.

At the Annual Meeting and General Assembly, professionals in the Meetings Industry from all over the world attended, and there were lectures and discussions on a wide variety of topics from Japanese culture to advanced technologies. By participating in the events, they were able to expand their horizons, both with new colleagues and by actually experiencing Japan.

As part of the CSR activities for the Meeting and General Assembly, delegates were asked to contribute picture books, and many, from all over the world, were received.
The books will be given to libraries and care facilities in areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake.
