Sendai Ryokusaikan Visitor Center, Aobayama Park opened on April 26, 2023 and JCS a member of its management consortium
Sendai Ryokusaikan Visitor Center, Aobayama Park, managed by AOBAYAMA Area Management*, a consortium of five companies including JCS, opened on April 26, 2023.

The Sendai Ryokusaikan Visitor Center, Aobayama Park has a total floor area of approximately 2,000 ㎡, including a Grand Hall for expericence exchange, a 100 ㎡ Japanese tatami room, a café specializing in fresh local ingredients, a shop stocked with traditional Sendai and Tohoku craftwork and local brand products, and an Information Lounge with a permanent display of Star Festival decorations and a tall festival float.
The facility can also be used in combination with the adjacent Sendai International Center and open outdoor spaces in Aobayama Park to hold parties and events.
Aobayama Park, rich in historic and cultural resources and scenic beauty, is being developed to symbolize Sendai, City of Trees and Water. At its entrance is Sendai Ryokusaikan Visitor Center, designed to provide information on Sendai’s history and culture and foster a wide array of encounters and activities. The Center will acquaint visitors to the Aobayama area with the beauty and excitement of Sendai, City of Trees and Water.
From April 26 to June 18, 2023, Aobayama Park will be the main venue for the 40th National Urban Greening Fair in Sendai. Information on flowers and greenery will also be on display.
