JCS Received a Letter of Gratitude from the Mayor of Kobe City for Its Participation in the Port of Kobe 150th Anniversary Event
On March 30, the Kobe branch of JCS received a letter of gratitude from the mayor of Kobe City, Mr. Kizo Hisamoto, for its efforts in helping the Port of Kobe 150th Anniversary Event be a success.
The Port of Kobe 150th Anniversary Event began in 2015 to celebrate the Port of Kobe 150th Anniversary on January 1, 2017. JCS’s Kobe branch planned and managed the Commemorative Ceremony to Celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Port of Kobe and the International Port Conference in KOBE. The Commemorative Ceremony to Celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Port of Kobe was honored to receive Prince Akishino along with 1,000 international and domestic guests who contributed to the development of the Port of Kobe. The anniversary was celebrated by all on a large scale. Twenty-five port representatives from 17 countries and regions in Asia, Europe, and the US took part in the International Port Conference in KOBE. They discussed cruise development and future outlook of logistics in Asia. At the closing of the conference, they adopted the “Kobe Declaration”.
JCS is grateful to be able to support the valuable events that are part of the Port of Kobe’s 150th Anniversary. We will continue to contribute to the development of Kobe City.
