Newly Opened – Shinagawa City Meguro Service Corner
On April 7, 2018, the Shinagawa City Meguro Service Corner (Family Register and Resident Section Branch Office) opened under JCS management. Its location is the first floor of Meguro Central Square, just one minute’s walk from the Meguro Station.
The Corner issues certificates (residence, seal, and household registration) and handles the borrowing and returning of books. It is open until 7 o’clock in the evening, so users can drop by after work on weekdays. It is also open on Saturdays and Sundays. It instantly became popular from the first day it was open. Users said, “It’s convenient as it is close to the station,” “It’s of great help as it is open until 7 in the evening,” and “It has become easier to borrow books.”
The Meguro Station area has many shops, restaurants, and high-rise condominiums; in other words, the area provides plenty of options for food, clothing, and housing that provide a foundation for residential needs. In addition to these, it now offers administrative services. With a growing sedentary population, it has become a more convenient place to live. The Facility Management Department is happy to enrich daily lives and contribute to the town’s further development.
